Rhetty Roo was more than just a dog. He was a little mate, a loyal shadow, a bedtime cuddle buddy, and a heart full of unconditional love.

For almost ten years, Rhetty filled his home with warmth, comfort, and little moments that became everything. He loved soaking up the sun, curling up for long naps, going for walks and drives, visiting the beach, and sitting peacefully at what became known as “Rhett’s Favourite View.” When lunch time came, he would twirl around with joy, turning an ordinary moment into something unforgettable.

Rhetty had a way of watching every move his dad made, always close, always present, always loving. He gave cuddles for hours, followed his family around the house and yard, and brought comfort in a way only a deeply loved companion can. He was tiny in size, but his love was huge. He knew he was the boss, and everyone loved him for it.

He also shared a special bond with Davey, who missed him deeply after he was gone. The two of them loved sitting in the sun together, and Rhetty’s absence left a quiet space that could be felt everywhere — beside the bed, around the house, out in the yard, and at his favourite places.

Even through health struggles, Rhetty kept enjoying life. He still played, still ate, still soaked up the sunshine, still gave kisses, and still made the people who loved him smile. When it was time for him to move on, he left surrounded by love — not as “just a dog,” but as family.
