Bear ♥

On the Fourth of July, we felt Bear's presence profoundly, a bittersweet reminder of his loving spirit. We cherish memories of our river trips, where he would float effortlessly beside us, seeming to wear a life jacket, barely kicking his feet. He was a gentle soul, unafraid when dragonflies landed on his nose, only playfully chomping at the air.

His absence is felt deeply, especially during moments like these, but on this special day, Bear sent us a remarkable sign. A butterfly with a broken wing, lovingly called 'Bear Bear' by our daughter, journeyed with us for hours, through a busy firework show and a long drive home. It was a precious, undeniable message from his soul, reminding us that even though he's no longer physically with us, our bond is eternal. Every day, we miss our dear boy, but moments like these bring comfort, knowing his loving spirit is always near.
